The immunity card will become a vaccination card, you may have already heard that. However, it will be converted from 1 May instead of 15 February as originally planned.
What it means:
- Immunity cards issued solely on the grounds of infection will expire on May 1
- In case you are vaccinated, your card will automatically remain valid from May if you had a second or third vaccination within 6 months of the previous one.
Validity time for vaccination cards after May 1:
- The vaccination card will be valid for six months after the second dosage of vaccination.
- If you take a rapid antigen test or molecular biological test for coronavirus, which is registered in EESZT and comes back with a positive result, in such case your vaccination card will be valid for 6 months from the date of your confirmed infection.
- After your third booster vaccination, your vaccination card will be valid indefinitely as of now.
Therefore from May 1, if you are unvaccinated, you will not be eligible for a vaccination card in case of a new infection and additionally, any current infection-based immunity card will expire from May.
